Hi, I’m Talia.
I found my passion for sleep through studying midwifery. I know right? How can that be? Well first I found out what true sleep deprivation meant when you were on call 24/7. I then began to see the impact sleep had on every aspect of my life. At the time, my course had a sleep consultant give us a crash course and what I learnt from her was that I had a passion for sleep. I combined this with my passion for supporting and helping families which resulted in me becoming an internationally qualified sleep consultant for infants and children under 5!
I have a background in childcare, although I did not finish my midwifery degree it gave me plenty of theoretical and hands on experience with newborns. I even have a certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have previously nannied for different families with kids of all ages, which taught me flexibility is key with teaching children.
Right now I work as a disability support worker.
My Approach
I offer an holistic approach where I work with you to meet the needs of your child and family. I take into account your parenting style, your child’s temperament, your family requirements and any philosophies and cultural needs.
